\n\tBTS<\/a>\u2018 forthcoming Arirang World Tour<\/a> is arriving as a truly historic live trek for the pop royalty that is the Bangtan Boys \u2014 and it requires a monumental setlist to accompany it.<\/p>\n \n\tOriginally announced with 79 shows across 34 regions in five continents, the tour has already grown in its initial size with two additional U.S. dates added in both Tampa, Florida, and Stanford, California, as the first tickets went on sale this week. The group will things kick off in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, 2026, and continue throughout 2027 with additional cities said to soon be announced in Japan, the Middle East and beyond.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Arirang World Tour marks BTS\u2019 first live concert series since the Permission to Dance on Stage tour that held mini-residencies in Seoul, Los Angeles and Las Vegas in 2021 and 2022 with 22 songs in the main setlist and three songs in the encore. During the period where members handled their individual mandatory military services, BTS members Suga<\/a>, J-Hope<\/a> and Jin<\/a> managed to embark on their own solo tours. Suga embarked on his D-Day Tour across North America and Asia in 2023 before his military enlistment, while J-Hope and Jin both went on their own solo treks post-military service in 2025.<\/p>\n \n\tTo make the Arirang World Tour as special as possible, we\u2019ve crafted our dream setlist that respects BTS\u2019 career arc, solo spotlights of the members who weren\u2019t able to head out on their solo tours and stadium-sized singalongs with 23 songs in the main set and four in the encore to ensure this is officially the biggest and greatest BTS show to date. <\/p>\n \t\u201cNot Today\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>You Never Walk Alone (2016)<\/p>\n \n\tBTS have spoken about both the excitement as well as the anxiety they\u2019re feeling with this long-awaited comeback to the music industry. Beyond the anthemic hip-hop production that opens the song, \u201cNot Today\u201d lets the group come together and make a direct declaration: they are back with a vengeance. Leader RM can shout his opening intro lines like a direct command to ARMY: \u201cAll the underdogs in the world: A day may come when we lose\/ But it is not today, today we fight!\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIt\u2019s a perfect mantra to reintroduce themselves on the stage to anyone who counted them out or thought BTS wouldn\u2019t come back stronger than ever. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cIDOL\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum:<\/strong> Love Yourself: Answer (2018)<\/p>\n \n\tContinuing the rollout of the red carpet, the regal mix of Korean instruments and brass that opens in 2018\u2019s \u201cIDOL\u201d extends the epic nature of BTS\u2019 stage return. Another track opened by RM, we can imagine him shouting, \u201cYou can call me artist\/ You can call me idol!\u201d and pausing to give the audience a chance to fully welcome the guys back, standing before them as fully developed artists and idols, before delivering the celebratory track in full.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cBlood Sweat & Tears\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Wings (2016)<\/p>\n \n\tA crowd-pleaser that keeps the energy and impressive stage performances of the first two songs with one of BTS\u2019 early breakout global hits \u2014 that\u2019s also turning 10 years old this year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cLike Crazy\u201d \/ \u201cWho\u201d (Jimin Solo Section)<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbums: <\/strong>FACE (2023) \/ MUSE (2024)<\/p>\n \n\tDuring the BTS hiatus, fans did get a chance to see Jin, Suga and J-Hope live on their own tours where they brought their solo releases to life. While the remaining four members haven\u2019t gotten their chance for solo tours \u2014 yet! \u2014 we think giving RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook their own solo sections that fit inside BTS\u2019 Arirang World Tour is fair and a special way to celebrate what these individuals also accomplished on stage.<\/p>\n \n\tSeamlessly connecting with the darker dance-pop theme set by \u201cBlood, Sweat & Tears,\u201d Jimin taking the spotlight to perform a medley featuring his historic Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit \u201cLike Crazy,\u201d as well as his 2024 Top 40 pop hit \u201cWho,\u201d will be a nice change of musical pace while still keeping the energy high.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cFake Love\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Love Yourself: Tear (2018)<\/p>\n \n\tBookending Jimin\u2019s solo section with two of BTS\u2019 darker-but-beloved singles, \u201cBlood, Sweat & Tears\u201d and \u201cFake Love,\u201d feels the most appropriate as songs where the multifaceted vocalist shines and match his musical aesthetic to make the concert as seamless as possible.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cI Need U\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1 (2015)<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI Need U\u201d comes as the audience is fully settling into the show. The track is a special one to ARMY as BTS\u2019 commercial breakthrough single in Korea and was named one of the defining songs of the previous decade by Billboard<\/a><\/strong> and the BBC<\/a><\/strong>. This song could be more of a celebratory, nostalgic moment rather than one where the boys need to go all-in on the choreography.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cRun BTS\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbum:<\/strong> Proof (2022)<\/p>\n \n\tOne of the new songs off anthology project Proof released after the group\u2019s Permission to Dance on Stage tour wrapped, \u201cRun BTS\u201d received only one major live performance at their \u201cYet to Come\u201d concert in Busan, South Korea, but is wholly deserving of a setlist spot. The track throws back to the guys\u2019 earlier, rowdier hip-hop styles while also representing the mature artists BTS are today.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cDope\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1 (2015)<\/p>\n \n\tWhile \u201cI Need U\u201d was BTS\u2019 commercial breakthrough from 2015 mini album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1, its follow-up single \u201cDope\u201d felt like the track that truly hooked international fans and began BTS\u2019 exponential global growth. \u201cDope\u201d has become a go-to favorite in BTS concerts with the track being the group\u2019s most-performed song in concert, according to LiveNation\u2019s Setlist.fm<\/a>. At this point, \u201cDope\u201d is a must-have.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \tHip-Hop Medley: \u201cSilver Spoon\u201d\/\u201dWe Are Bulletproof Pt.2\u2033\/\u201dN.O\u201d\/\u201dAttack on Bangtan\u201d\/\u201dDdaeng\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbums: <\/strong>The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.2 (2015) \/ 2 Cool 4 Skool (2013) \/ O!RUL8,2? (2013) \/ O!RUL8,2? (2013) \/ Unreleased (2018)<\/p>\n \n\tFollowing \u201cRun BTS\u201d and \u201cDope,\u201d it would be a dream to hear a full-fledged medley of singles and fan-favorite tracks of BTS\u2019 most hip-hop-leaning material. From their earliest singles like \u201cN.O\u201d and \u201cWe Are Bulletproof Pt.2\u201d to RM, Suga and j-hope\u2019s still-unreleased \u201cDdaeng,\u201d we can imagine huge smiles on the guys\u2019 faces as they run through these nostalgic smashes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cLOST!\u201d \/ \u201cWildflower\u201d (RM Solo Section)<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbums: <\/strong>Right Place, Wrong Person (2024) \/ Indigo (2022)<\/p>\n \n\tIt makes stylistic sense to move from a hip-hop medley to RM\u2019s solo section, with his multi-genre approach to his solo career able to shift the concert\u2019s direction in whatever style he chooses. While the Right Place, Wrong Person single has an upbeat sound that will transition well from the medley, the introspective and melancholy lyrics in \u201cLOST!\u201d nicely connect to another RM solo single like \u201cWildflower\u201d to draw a true distinction between the RM who leads BTS and the solo artist while still fitting well into the overarching storyline in the setlist.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cBlack Swan\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Map of the Soul: 7 (2020)<\/p>\n \n\tWith RM\u2019s \u201cWildflower\u201d setting the sentimental mood, \u201cBlack Swan\u201d is the perfect next track as one of BTS\u2019 more brooding releases while also standing as one of the group\u2019s best stage performances<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cBorn Singer\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Proof (2022)<\/p>\n \n\tWhile \u201cBlack Swan\u201d speaks to the inner questions and worries BTS had about their careers, \u201cBorn Singer\u201d serves as a declaration of identity and a belief in oneself. While the song was only officially remastered and released on Proof in 2022, the reinterpretation of J. Cole\u2019s \u201cBorn Sinner\u201d was first shared on BTS\u2019 SoundCloud in 2013 in the days after their official debut on the K-pop scene. The song feels like another comforting reminder to fans that BTS is still the same passionate artists who began this incredible journey nearly 13 years ago.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cON\u201d\/\u201dBurning Up (Fire)\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbums: <\/strong>Map of the Soul: 7 (2020)\/The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever (2016)<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cON\u201d opened the Permission to Dance on Stage with the epic, militaristic march of the Map of the Soul: 7 single kicking off BTS\u2019 biggest live spectacle to date, followed by one of their most famous choreographies with \u201cBurning Up (Fire).\u201d While that run only hit select cities in Los Angeles, Seoul and Las Vegas, bringing a shortened version of \u201cON\u201d as a lead-in to the blazing \u201cFire\u201d choreo feels like a way for BTS to honor these two massive performance-driven songs and not feel like they need to outdo or rehash any previous feats. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cSlow Dancing\u201d\/\u201dLove Me Again\u201d\/\u201dFRI(END)S\u201d (V Solo Section)<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbums: <\/strong>Layover (2023) \/ Layover (2023) \/ FRI(END)S (2024)<\/p>\n \n\tAfter \u201cON\u201d and \u201cBurning Up (Fire),\u201d the BTS boys \u2014 and the audience \u2014 will all deserve a little break. That\u2019s why it\u2019s the right time for V to come on for his solo section, as this will likely require a bit of maneuvering on the stage. As evidenced from the storytelling and stage props he imbedded into past performances of solo songs like \u201cSingularity\u201d during the Love Yourself world tours, Mr. Kim Taehyung ensures the little details take his performances to the next level and we imagine he could make BTS\u2019 stadium stages feel like intimate jazz shows to perform Layover standouts like \u201cSlow Dancing\u201d and \u201cLove Me Again.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tV can continue the intimate vibes while also slightly kicking the energy back up with his 2024 single \u201cFRI(END)S,\u201d fully getting the stadiums worked up by shouting along the massive final choruses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cMy Universe\u201d\/\u201dThe Astronaut\u201d\/\u201dMikrokosmos\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbums: <\/strong>Coldplay<\/a>\u2018s Music of the Spheres (2021) \/ The Astronaut (2022) \/ Map of the Soul: PERSONA (2019)<\/p>\n \n\tThe V vibes can be seamlessly transitioned into BTS\u2019 spacey Billboard Hot 100<\/a><\/strong> No. 1, \u201cMy Universe,\u201d featuring their friends Coldplay, which has a calming yet exhilarating sound that will quickly have audiences around the world shouting along to the affirming chorus.<\/p>\n \n\tAnd if it\u2019s a little awkward for BTS to take the full song on their own without Chris and the gang, we\u2019re going to suggest mashing up \u201cMy Universe\u201d with a bit of Jin\u2019s Coldplay-assisted single \u201cThe Astronaut\u201d and another celestial stunner in \u201cMikrokosmos,\u201d both euphoric songs that BTS can dedicate to the fans for another intimate moment with ARMY.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cSave Me\u201d\/\u201dI\u2019m Fine\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbums: <\/strong>The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever (2016) \/ Love Yourself: Answer (2018)<\/p>\n \n\tThroughout BTS\u2019 discography, several songs serve as counterparts to previously released tracks. While there is \u201cBoy in Luv\u201d and \u201cBoy With Luv\u201d as well as \u201cN.O\u201d and \u201cON,\u201d one of the most famous and beloved among fans would be 2018\u2019s \u201cI\u2019m Fine,\u201d acting as an answer to \u201cSave Me\u201d from 2016. The latter single came paired with an intense choreography that\u2019s another fan-favorite stage performance with \u201cI\u2019m Fine\u201d making its live debut during the Permission to Dance on Stage tour.<\/p>\n \n\tBringing these two songs together in a new mash-up honors the connectivity of BTS\u2019 body of work.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cDynamite\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>BE (2020)<\/p>\n \n\tAt this point of the concert, it\u2019s time to really unleash and have some good ole fun, right? \u201cDynamite\u201d is the crossover, disco-pop smash that uplifted millions through the pandemic and feels like the perfect moment to take things in a lighter direction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cSeven\u201d\/\u201dStanding Next to You\u201d (Jung Kook Solo Section)<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>GOLDEN (2023)<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cDynamite\u201d spotlighting one of BTS\u2019 most famous English tracks marks a perfect moment for Jung Kook to deliver his smash crossover singles including the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 \u201cSeven\u201d and excellent soul-pop performance of \u201cStanding Next to You.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe two tracks together show his range as a vocalist with \u201cStanding Next to You\u201d delivering the kind of classic stage performance that will impress audiences of all ages. Maybe even Usher can join him on stage at a show and give us a hint of what that Super Bowl Halftime Show performance could have looked like. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cButter\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum:<\/strong> Butter \/ Permission to Dance (2021)<\/p>\n \n\tWith JK already setting the feel-good vibes after ending his solo section with \u201cStanding Next to You,\u201d BTS segueing to \u201cButter\u201d makes the most sense to keep the audience groove going with this Billboard Hot No. 1 hit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cDNA\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Love Yourself: Her (2017)<\/p>\n \n\tLet\u2019s keep the good vibes going with another crowdpleaser with \u201cDNA,\u201d the group\u2019s first song to enter the Billboard Hot 100 and was a key single to help BTS reach new overseas audiences.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cBoy With Luv\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Map of the Soul: PERSONA (2019)<\/p>\n \n\tWith the concert winding down, \u201cBoy With Luv\u201d is another feel-good superhit that will keep the joyous atmosphere alive. The 2019 Halsey-assisted track is another song that signifies BTS\u2019 growth, serving as the self-actualized answer to 2014\u2019s razor-edged \u201cBoy in Luv,\u201d and will bring smiles to both the band and the audience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \tSurprise B-Side Medley<\/p>\n \n\tAlbums: <\/strong>Various<\/p>\n \n\tEven before The Eras Tour, BTS was delivering surprise live medleys since 2018\u2019s Love Yourself World Tour. While Taylor Swift made each Eras night special with an unexpected mash-up, BTS can continue this tradition by delivering performances of two to four B-sides each night, making sure each ARMY has a unique concert experience and leaving fans wondering which song they\u2019ll get on their night. <\/p>\n \n\tWhile there will inevitably be some title track singles that don\u2019t make the setlist, we\u2019d love for the guys to focus on deep cuts here, especially songs that the group has never performed yet. Can we please get \u201cLouder Than Bombs,\u201d \u201cParadise,\u201d \u201cDon\u2019t Leave Me,\u201d \u201cHeartbeat,\u201d or \u201cCould You Turn Off Your Cell Phone\u201d?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cYet to Come\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbum:<\/strong> Proof (2022)<\/p>\n \n\tWith the concert closing before an inevitable encore, \u201cYet to Come\u201d is the right song to close the main section of the concert. After the guys went through their biggest hits, they still promise that the \u201cbest moment is yet to come,\u201d a message that will leave ARMY tingling as they wait for the lights to come back on for the encore.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cTake Two\u201d (Encore)<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Take Two (2023)<\/p>\n \n\tThe last single released as BTS fully paused group promotions during their military enlistments, \u201cTake Two\u201d can make its live debut on the Arirang World Tour at the concert with its calming production welcoming the group back to the stage as they sing the perfect-for-an-encore opening lyrics, asking the audience, \u201cWill you stay?\u201d (And of course ARMY will be there)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cMIC Drop\u201d (Encore)<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Love Yourself: Her (2017)<\/p>\n \n\tOnce we\u2019re fully back with \u201cTake Two,\u201d it\u2019s time to get rowdy on stage just one more time. \u201cMIC Drop\u201d is a BTS anthem and will let the guys deliver another upbeat banger to ensure the crowd has spent (nearly) all its energy as the show winds down.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cWe Are Bulletproof : The Eternal\u201d (Encore)<\/p>\n \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>Map of the Soul: 7 (2020)<\/p>\n \n\tWhile we could have gone with several of BTS\u2019 different comfort anthems as the penultimate performance (\u201cLife Goes On\u201d and \u201cEpilogue: Young Forever\u201d would all be fine choices), there is something so moving about Map of the Soul: 7\u2019s \u201cWe Are Bulletproof : The Eternal\u201d that we feel the show will end on a transcendental note if we heard the song\u2019s closing choral chants sung in stadiums around the world. <\/p>\n \n\tOf course, the sentimental lyrics act as one last specific message to ARMY with the final lyrics, \u201cYeah, we are not seven with you\u201d showing how much greater BTS is in the presence of their fans.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t\u201cSpring Day\u201d (Encore)<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAlbum: <\/strong>You Never Walk Alone (2017)<\/p>\n \n\tWe had to end things with this perennial hit that has become one of BTS\u2019 most special signature songs and that truly ends the concert on a hopeful note that brighter, warmer days are never too far away. Even if concertgoers are sad the show is ending, the \u201cSpring Day\u201d song itself is like a warm hug, leaving the listener comforted.
