Birmingham City chairman Tom Wagner has hinted that the club\u2019s next addition will be a Spanish speaker.<\/p>\n
In an address to supporters at the Knighthead Fan Park ahead of the 1-1 draw with Stoke City,<\/a> Wagner spoke briefly about the club\u2019s transfer business this month before teasing another signing.<\/p>\n Wagner<\/a> said \u201cHabla Espa\u00f1ol\u2026\u201d which translates to \u2018Do you speak Spanish?\u2019 at a time when Blues are being heavily linked with Alaves winger Carlos Vicente.<\/p>\n FOLLOW ON FACEBOOK! <\/strong>All the latest Blues news on Birmingham Live\u2019s Birmingham City FC Facebook page<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Reports in Spain suggest Blues<\/a> are prepared to pay \u20ac7million (\u00a36m) for Vicente, who has scored four times in 20 matches for Alaves in La Liga this season, but Dutch side Ajax are also in the running.<\/p>\n Wagner told fans: \u201cListen, we need you guys to keep drinking as much as possible because Craig Gardner is spending money like it grows on trees.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I think it\u2019s well spent.
