A major Openshaw road has been fully reopened following a collision between two vehicles this morning (January 24).<\/p>\n
Police cordoned off part of Ashton Old Road, near to the junction of Wood Street, following the crash involving a black car and a Bee Network bus. The collision is understood to have taken place at around 8.55am on Saturday morning. Significant damage was caused to the front of both vehicles.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Transport for Greater Manchester said: “At around 08:55am this morning there was a collision between a bus and a car on Ashton<\/a> Old Road, near to the junction of Wood Street, Openshaw. The road is now fully open.
