I truly believe you can speak something into existence, and that\u2019s exactly what has happened with the directors of the Netflix hit Don\u2019t Move, which was produced by\u00a0Sam Raimi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n DREAD CENTRAL has learned exclusively that Don\u2019t Move directors\u00a0Brian Netto<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Adam Schindler<\/strong> have indeed been developing the next Darkman<\/strong> for Raimi and Ghost House Pictures.<\/p>\n Raimi first worked with the duo on the Quibi series \u201c50 States of Fright,\u201d\u00a0which led to Ghost House producing Don\u2019t Move, a thrilling psychological horror film in which a\u00a0seasoned killer injects a grieving woman with a paralytic agent, and she must run, fight, and hide before her body shuts down.<\/p>\n The saga began in 2024, when Netto and Schindler told\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>\u00a0that their dream project was to bring a new\u00a0Darkman to life. Raimi wrote and directed the 1990 superhero thriller that starred Liam Neeson<\/strong> as a brilliant scientist left for dead who returns to exact revenge on the people who burned him alive.<\/p>\n \u201cIf we\u2019re talking Sam-related, it\u2019s\u00a0Darkman,\u201d Schindler said back in 2024. \u201cWe talked about\u00a0Darkman\u00a0[with him]. We\u2019ve got a love and an affinity for\u00a0Darkman.\u201d<\/p>\n Netto added, \u201cDarkman\u00a0was my favorite film for a good portion of my life. It was\u00a0the\u00a0movie, so\u00a0Darkman\u00a0would be really interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n Raimi tips his hat to this scoop in a recent interview with Movieweb<\/a>: \u201cGhost House Pictures, the company I work with, is trying to make it [Darkman] right now,\u201d Raimi told the site while touring Send Help, in theaters this Friday. \u201cWe have a script and two great directors, but we still have some difficulties with the financing.
