ENGLAND rugby star Lawrence Dallaglio faces being declared bankrupt in a bitter divorce battle.<\/p>\n

Estranged wife Alice has filed a bankruptcy<\/a> application against him and his firm Lawrence Dallaglio Limited, which is already in voluntary liquidation.<\/p>\n

A hearing has been listed for Tuesday at London\u2019s Bankruptcy Court<\/a> after papers were submitted on Friday.<\/p>\n

The move comes just months after Lawrence and Alice, both 52, appeared at the Central Family Court in Holborn to finalise their split.<\/a><\/p>\n

Their stormy 20-year marriage publicly unravelled<\/a> amid accusations of affairs on both sides.<\/a><\/p>\n

The family home is on the market for \u00a33million in Richmond, South West London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They bought the property in 2001 for \u00a3925,000 and raised their three children, Enzo, Ella, and Josie, there.<\/p>\n

Lawrence resigned as England captain in 1999 following drug allegations.<\/p>\n

Wasps<\/a> hero Dallaglio, widely regarded as one of England\u2019s greatest rugby players, won 85 caps for his country and was part of the 2003 World Cup-winning team.<\/p>\n

He was awarded an OBE in 2008.<\/p>\n

He was approached for comment yesterday.<\/p>\n
