Everton drew 1-1 with Leeds United at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n Leeds were far superior in the first half, and it was James Justin who opened the scoring for the visitors in the 28th minute.<\/p>\n Thierno Barry\u2019s 76th-minute equaliser<\/a>\u00a0earned the Toffees a point, but they once again failed to get going at the Hill Dickinson Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n Everton suffered a 4-2 loss against Brentford<\/a>\u00a0on 4 January, and they haven\u2019t won at home since the start of December 2025.<\/p>\n With fans growing increasingly frustrated by the performances in L4, Simon Jordan has predicted what could happen to David Moyes.<\/p>\n Everton beat Aston Villa 1-0 on 18 January<\/a>, and their form away from home has been incredibly impressive.<\/p>\n When Moyes returned to Merseyside in January 2025, few supporters could have predicted how well he would do.<\/p>\n Although Everton have ambitions of qualifying for Europe<\/a>, they keep dropping points in home games that they should be winning on paper.<\/p>\n Speaking on talkSPORT on 27 January, Jordan<\/a> fears that Moyes could fall under the same criticism that came his way when he was at West Ham.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cEverton are sitting 10th in the league and building a solid foundation in the first season at a new ground.<\/p>\n Moyes\u2019 Premier League record in his second spell at Everton<\/p>\n \u201cHowever, given the fact that they\u2019ve bought this marvellous stadium, the fans will rightly demand for more.<\/p>\n \u201cMoyes didn\u2019t make the step up at West Ham, and the same focus could be on him at Everton. Before you know it, some fans will be calling him out for the style of play.\u201d<\/p>\n Although Moyes<\/a> won the UEFA Conference League with West Ham in 2023, he left the club just a year later after supporters believed he had taken the team as far as he could.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Any criticism from Everton fans would be harsh at this moment in time, especially given the lack of recruitment in the winter transfer window.<\/p>\n David Moyes needs more help from The Friedkin Group<\/p>\n Everton<\/a> haven\u2019t signed a single player in January so far, and frustration is growing towards The Friedkin Group.<\/p>\n Moyes is desperate for new players as he continues to deal with several injuries to key players.<\/p>\n It can\u2019t be ignored that Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye were at AFCON for four weeks, and as soon as they returned, Jack Grealish sustained a stress fracture in his foot.<\/p>\n With Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall still not fully fit, Moyes has had to field a makeshift attack for the past six weeks.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n If the Toffees fail to make much progress in the next 12 months, then perhaps questions could be raised over his future.<\/p>\n However, it\u2019s clear that he needs more investment and time to build his own squad.<\/p>\n Everton are clearly on the right path, and supporters should trust that he is the man who can make them into a team that competes for European football.<\/p>\n Stay up to date this winter with our\u00a0Everton transfer tracker<\/a>.
