CONCERNS continue to grow over the safety of a 60-year-old woman who went missing in Edinburgh on Monday (JAN 26).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alison Gibbens was last seen on North Gyle Avenue around 10:30am on Monday in the west of the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said today (JAN 27): \u201cAlison remains a missing person and enquiries are ongoing to trace her.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

She is described as white, around 5ft 3in tall, of slim build, with brown hair. Police have\u00a0stated\u00a0that when last seen, Alison was wearing a black jacket.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In an appeal to trace Gibbens sent out on Monday, Inspector Caroline Herbert said: \u201cConcerns for Alison are\u00a0growing\u00a0and we are keen to trace her as soon as possible.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are appealing to anyone who has seen her, or has any information on where she may be, to come forward.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
