Detectives are trying to track down 12 men after a man was stabbed in Birmingham city centre<\/a> on New Year’s Day.<\/p>\n

The victim was attacked by a group of people in Bradford Street at around 1.30am on January 1 this year.<\/p>\n

The gang stabbed the man in the leg before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n

He was rushed to hospital following the attack.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> today, Wednesday, January 2, issued CCTV images of 12 men detectives would like to identify following the incident.<\/p>\n

A force spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information after a man was attacked in Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“At 1.30am on New Year’s Day, the man was attacked by a group of people in Barford Street.<\/p>\n

“The group stabbed the man in one of his legs, requiring hospital treatment, before leaving the area.<\/p>\n

“Officers investigating the attack are appealing to the public for any information which could help in their enquiries.<\/p>\n

“They are particularly keen to identify these men, who may know more about what happened.<\/p>\n

“Anyone who was in the area at the time can call 101 quoting crime number 20\/100242\/26.”<\/p>\n
