{"id":727606,"date":"2026-01-29T02:29:17","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T02:29:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/727606\/"},"modified":"2026-01-29T02:29:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-29T02:29:17","slug":"lgh-moves-into-france-vertikal-net","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/727606\/","title":{"rendered":"LGH moves into France | Vertikal.net"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            29.01.2026<\/p>\n<p>            International lifting gear company LGH has opened its first branch in France in the town of Dreux, around 100km west of Paris. <\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"js-lazyimage lazyimage image__img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/11_dji-20251103154706-0011-d-reduced-4_54f923ad.jpg\" data-width=\"1065\" data-height=\"464\" data-replace-placeholder=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n<p>            The new facility        <\/p>\n<p>\nThe Dreux facility features a fully equipped warehouse stocked with a wide range of rental equipment, including hoists up to 100 tonnes, gantries, hydraulic jacking equipment, rigging gear such as slings and modular spreader beams, and general material handling and moving systems. It will be managed by Koffi Ahawo and supported by account manager Lorenzo du Burck.<\/p>\n<p>The new facility was formally opened by local mayor Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Billet, who said: &#8220;The establishment of LGH France&#8217;s first branch in Dreux is excellent news for our region. This choice testifies to the confidence of an international player in the dynamism and attractiveness of our city, located at the heart of a strategic logistics crossroads, and is recognition of the work carried out over several years to make Dreux a welcoming location for innovative and job-creating companies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"js-lazyimage lazyimage image__img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/11_lgh-mayor-frederic-billet-opens_254f4891.jpeg\" data-width=\"1100\" data-height=\"797\" data-replace-placeholder=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n<p>            The mayor of Dreux, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Billet, opens the new LGH facility        <\/p>\n<p>LGH Europe chief executive Andy Mault said: \u201cThe expansion of LGH to France is a logical step in our international growth process after successful operations in North America and, most recently, Australia. France offers great opportunities in the areas of infrastructure, ports and energy \u2013 especially in the transition to solar and wind energy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"js-lazyimage lazyimage image__img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/11_dscf5700-edit-reduced-4_c540d7bd.jpg\" data-width=\"1100\" data-height=\"664\" data-replace-placeholder=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n<p>            LGH France has taken on the Ganterud line of load turners        <\/p>\n<p>LGH was established by Bill Parkinson in 1970 in the UK. The company opened in the USA in 1990 and closed its operations in the UK in 2005 to focus on its expansion in North America. In 2016, it returned to the UK and today operates from five locations in the country, along with one in the Netherlands, one in Belgium and two in Germany, plus around 20 branches in North America, and now one in France.
