A Florida<\/a> nurse who wished Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt<\/a> harm during childbirth had her license revoked in an emergency suspension.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alexis ‘Lexie’ Lawler, 55, took to TikTok<\/a> earlier this month to say she wishes the 28-year-old Leavitt would sustain a fourth-degree tear<\/a> while giving birth to her unborn baby.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I hope that you f***ing rip from bow to stern and never s*** normally again, you c***,’ she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A fourth-degree tear is a form of injury sustained by some women during childbirth often requiring surgery to correct. It is considered to be the most severe birthing tear.<\/p>\n

The labor and delivery nurse was immediately dismissed from her role at the Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital.<\/p>\n

But now Lawler has been dealt a fresh blow blow as the Sunshine State has revoked her nursing license completely.<\/p>\n

‘Making statements that wish pain and suffering on anyone, when those statements are directly related to one’s practice, is an ethical red line we should not cross,’ Attorney General James Uthmeier wrote on X.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lawler\u00a0took to TikTok earlier this month to say she wished Leavitt, 28, would suffer from a fourth-degree tear while giving birth to her unborn baby\u00a0<\/p>\n

On her Facebook page, Lawler acknowledged that she spoke ‘angrily’ while off-duty from work.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘And I don\u2019t believe anyone should lose their livelihood over speech,’ she wrote. ‘If that\u2019s radical left scum, fine. It\u2019s cool, I\u2019ll live.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

When approached by the Daily Mail about her suspension, Lawler declined to comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last month, Leavitt announced she is expecting her second child<\/a> with Nicholas Riccio, her 60-year-old husband of one year.<\/p>\n

Lawler’s words about Leavitt were widely circulated on social media and led supporters of President Donald Trump to call for her firing.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Baptist Health confirmed to CBS 12<\/a> that Lawler is no longer employed at the Boca Raton hospital.<\/p>\n

‘The comments made in a social media video by a nurse at one of our facilities do not reflect our values or the standards we expect of healthcare professionals,’ the spokesperson said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Following a prompt review, the individual is no longer employed by our health system.<\/p>\n

She was fired from Baca Raton Regional Hospital after she posted her video\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘While we respect the right to personal opinions, there is no place in healthcare for language or behavior that calls into question a caregiver’s ability to provide compassionate, unbiased care.’<\/p>\n

A GoFundMe <\/a>has been created on behalf of Lawler that has raised just over $10,000 as of Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

‘Lexie Lawler was fired for political speech,’ the fundraiser’s description read.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘She is a liberal woman who used her personal social media – on her own time – to sharply criticize a public figure tied to a cruel, harmful administration. Her words were blunt, angry, and unapologetic. They were directed at power, not her workplace.<\/p>\n

‘If you believe liberal women shouldn\u2019t lose their livelihoods for refusing to tone it down, stand with Lexie.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The GoFundMe was created by Unlawful Threads, a company that sells anti-Trump shirts online.<\/p>\n
