Saleh briefed the ambassadors on recent parliamentary updates. He emphasized that the legal and legislative framework for presidential and parliamentary elections is now ready.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">The discussions also addressed shared regional challenges. The parties focused primarily on combating illegal migration and its impact on regional security. They stressed the importance of international coordination to support Libya in securing its borders. Saleh also highlighted the need to protect Libyan sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">Saleh reaffirmed the House of Representatives\u2019 pivotal role as the elected legislative authority. He called for stronger cooperation in parliamentary, political, and economic fields.
