A manhunt has been launched after the woman was attacked on Thursday afternoon\"A<\/p>\n

A woman suffered suspected stab wounds in an attack as police launch a manhunt for the suspect. Dyfed-Powys Police said officers were called reports of an assault in the area of Picton Terrace and Carmarthen<\/a> Park just after 4pm on Thursday.<\/p>\n

A woman has been hospitalised with suspected stab wounds. Her condition is described as stable.<\/p>\n

Police have set up a cordon within the park, and Picton Terrace is also closed to all traffic.<\/p>\n

Officers are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch at the earliest opportunity.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Our officers are currently in attendance at Picton Terrace and Carmarthen<\/a> Park, following a report of an assault at just after 4pm.<\/p>\n

“A woman has been taken to hospital to be treated for what are believed to be stab wounds, and is currently in a stable condition.<\/p>\n

“A scene inside the park has been cordoned off, and Picton Terrace is currently closed to traffic while officers examine the scene and carry out enquiries to locate the suspect.<\/p>\n
