USA Volleyball has brought on JMI Sports as its third-party sales rep through 2030. The NGB had been running commercial efforts in house. <\/p>\n
It\u2019s the first time JMI has represented an NGB and an indicative of volleyball\u2019s growth across all levels of the sport. In addition to USA Volleyball\u2019s more than 600,000 members, and two competing pro leagues, the sport has exploded in popularity at the high school and college levels, including an astounding 92,000 in attendance at a 2023 Univ. of Nebraska match<\/a>, the largest crowd to watch any women\u2019s sporting event. Additionally, the 2027 FIVB Women\u2019s World Championship with Canada will mark the first time the event will be held in North America. <\/p>\n Accordingly, in 2028, \u201cIf volleyball isn\u2019t one of the breakout sports at L.A. 28, something\u2019s wrong,\u201d said JMI CEO Erik Judson<\/b>. \u201cIt\u2019s growing at every level and demographic, so our mission is to build a bigger and better platform for commercial partners and add more year-round touchpoints.\u201d<\/p>\n JMI named VP\/Partnerships Erika Quiel <\/b>as its lead on USA Volleyball, reporting to SVP Pete Thuresson<\/b>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"USA Volleyball has brought on JMI Sports as its third-party sales rep through 2030.
