A film that Formula 1 fans will love is airing on TV tonight (Sunday, March 3) across the UK for free.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a busy day for motorsport fanatics<\/a>, with the eagerly anticipated Miami Grand Prix getting underway at 9pm.<\/p>\n

McLaren’s Oscar Piastri is the current leader after the first five races, standing on 106 points after the Australian, Chinese, Japanese, Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix.<\/p>\n

Hot on the tail of the 24-year-old driver is Bristol native Lando Norris<\/a>, who is leading the Miami race and just nine points behind him in second place.<\/p>\n

If there\u2019s one thing sports fans love it\u2019s movies about their passion, with one of the genre\u2019s best diving deep into the world of Formula 1.<\/p>\n

Released in 2013, Rush <\/strong>follows the rivalry between Formula one drivers James Hunt and Nick Lauda during the 1976 season.<\/p>\n

Based on a true story, the film <\/a>stars Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl as Hunt and Lauda, two of the sport\u2019s best ever competitors.<\/p>\n

The intense rivalry is just as thrilling off the track than on it, with the characters\u2019 rivalry getting beyond personal at every moment.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s refreshing to see Hemsworth do more dramatic work, with his work as Thor in the MCU <\/a>restricting him to focus on his comedic chops when he’s a tremendous dramatic actor.<\/p>\n

Helping bring the film to life is director Ron Howard, known for gracing the screen with Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind and Cinderella Man. However, Rush might be his best work.<\/p>\n

Boasting a Hans Zimmer score, Rush grossed $98.2 million at the box office against an estimated budget of $38 million.<\/p>\n

Critics were in favour of the film, giving it an approval rating of 88% based on 238 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.<\/p>\n

Its critical consensus reads: \u201cA sleek, slick, well-oiled machine, Rush is a finely crafted sports drama with exhilarating race sequences and strong performances from Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re waiting for the Miami Grand Prix\u2019s highlights to arrive, you can\u2019t go wrong with one of the best films of the 2010s.<\/p>\n
