A lucky kmfm listener has beaten the winter blues after winning \u00a31,000 thanks to kmfm\u2019s Thousand Pound Friday.<\/p>\n

The radio station’s monthly competition gives listeners 24 hours to enter via text and online to make a play for the prize.<\/p>\n

Entries can be made between 6pm on Thursday and 6pm on Friday, when one Kent winner is chosen at random.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, Fiona McLennan, from Ashford<\/a>, received a call from Ben Pearce, from Getting You Home, who revealed she was this month\u2019s winner.<\/p>\n

She told kmfm she plans to spend it on having her car fixed, though she thinks her boyfriend Joe will suggest they spend it on a holiday.<\/p>\n

Rob and Numi from kmfm Breakfast announced the return of the station\u2019s competition for 2026 on Monday morning, following a successful month of cash giveaways with \u2018Pay My Bills\u2019, which gave listeners the chance to win their share of thousands of pounds to help cover post-Christmas costs.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Thousand Pound Friday awarded a total of \u00a313,000 to 13 listeners across Kent, with one lucky winner taking home \u00a31,000 on the final Friday of each month.<\/p>\n
