Mikey Moore admits he\u2019s lost his spark in recent weeks – but the Ibrox winger says he\u2019s ready to become Rangers<\/a>\u2019 magic man at Easter Road.<\/p>\n

The on-loan Spurs teenager has charmed the Ibrox faithful with some big displays this season. But the 18-year-old accepts his performances have waned since his stunning strike against Celtic<\/a> clinched Old Firm victory at Parkhead earlier this month.<\/p>\n

But with Danny Rohl\u2019s<\/a> side now facing a key clash with Hibs in Leith, Moore<\/a> is determined to cast a fresh spell over the opposition defence as Gers look to conjure up a fresh winning run. Rohl has signed brought in three January signings so far – including Denmark wide man Andres Skov Olsen – and Moore admits the arrival of fresh competition can help him rediscover his powers to bewitch.<\/p>\n

The teenager – speaking after Thursday\u2019s Europa League defeat to Porto<\/a> ended a streak of eight straight victories – said: \u201cTo be honest I think we needed the new signings as a team. It’s hard, you don’t want to get too comfortable so for me personally I think I need to reflect on myself over the past two or three weeks and know that I’ve got higher standards than what I’ve hit personally.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’ve been doing really well but personally now I need to push on and now I’ve got to fight for my place in the team and become that person who you know is going to be playing week after week. Have I been tired lately? It’s hard to put something on it, I think I just need to push myself.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mentality needs to be that I’m going to go into every game and try and play as well as possible. So for me, the last two weeks I don’t think I’ve been bad but I think I’ve been better than what I’ve been.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut there’s going to be a lot of games where we’re going to need someone to come up with a bit of magic and for me with my end product\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cI need to reflect on it truthfully and it’s not been at its best so far.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I know that I’ve got big moments in me so now the big games are coming up, I think I can really push on and start showing that with my numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore is due head back to North London in the summer but hasn\u2019t ruled out a return to Glasgow next year. And he admits the chance to sample Champions League action with Gers would make that prospect all the more enticing.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThere’s been nothing decided so far. I’ve spoken to people back home but they’re saying focus on the rest of the season and then when the summer comes, we’ll assess and see what happens next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to play in the Champions League, it’s a huge competition but it’s hard because I need to talk to everyone else back home.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a collective decision.
