\n\tPaul Thomas Anderson<\/a>\u2018s political thriller One Battle After Another <\/a>took home the top prize at the 46th annual London Critics\u2019 Circle Film Awards<\/a> Sunday night.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Leonardo DiCaprio-starring film was awarded film of the year at the ceremony, held at London\u2019s May Fair Hotel, with Anderson also winning director of the year and screenwriter of the year, while Sean Penn<\/a> earned the supporting actor prize.<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere, Hamnet<\/a>\u2018s Jessie Buckley<\/a> nabbed actress of the year for her performance in Chlo\u00e9 Zhao\u2019s Shakespearean heartbreaker, while Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a> took home the lead actor prize for Josh Safdie\u2019s ping-pong caper Marty Supreme<\/a>. Amy Madigan<\/a> won in the supporting actress category for her villainous turn in Zach Cregger\u2019s Weapons<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tRyan Coogler\u2019s genre-bending vampire movie Sinners<\/a> earned the technical achievement award for Ludwig G\u00f6ransson\u2019s score, and in categories dedicated to British and Irish talent, newcomer Harry Lighton won with his queer biker drama Pillion<\/a>, in both the British\/Irish film of the year and breakthrough British\/Irish filmmaker categories.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther winners included Josh O\u2019Connor, who was awarded British\/Irish performer of the year for his strong 2025 outing. The actor starred in The Mastermind, The History of Sound and Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.<\/p>\n

\n\t28 Years Later breakout Alfie Williams was also named young British\/Irish performer of the year for 28 Years Later, while I Swear and Palestine 36\u2018s Robert Aramayo \u2014\u00a0also a BAFTA Film Award nominee<\/a> \u2014\u00a0was awarded breakthrough performer of the year.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing previous recipients Colman Domingo and Zo\u00eb Salda\u00f1a, Britain\u2019s Cynthia Erivo received the Derek Malcolm Award for innovation, in honor of a career spanning roles in Widows, Harriet, Bad Times at the El Royale and the Wicked movies.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe night\u2019s second honorary award, the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film, went to Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro<\/a>, who most recently helmed a reimagining of Frankenstein.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 46th London Critics\u2019 Circle Film Awards were voted for by the 207 members of the Film Section of the Critics\u2019 Circle, the U.K.\u2019s longest-standing and most prestigious critics\u2019 organization. See the full list of winners below.<\/p>\n
