\n\tThe 2026 Grammy Awards<\/a> telecast is underway in Los Angeles, after a three-hour-plus Premiere Ceremony leading into the primetime show at Crypto.com Arena airing live on CBS<\/a> and Paramount+. Trevor Noah hosts. <\/p>\n

The Recording Academy is honoring the past year\u2019s best in music achievement across of a total of 95 categories. Scroll below for the winners so far, preshow coverage and follow along for more winners as they are announced.<\/p>\n

\n\tOlivia won Best New Artist, which was presented by last year\u2019s winner<\/a> Chappel Roan. \u201cI guess I want to say I\u2019m up here as thy granddaughter of an immigrant,\u201d Dean said onstage. \u201cI\u2019m a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated. We\u2019re nothing without each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first award on the telecast went to Kendrick Lamar, who won Best Rap Album for GNX. He now has passed Jay-Z for the most career Grammys by a rapper<\/a>. During the Premiere Ceremony earlier, he won Best Rap Song for \u201ctv off,\u201d Best Melodic Rap Performance for \u201cluther\u201d with SZA and Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals for \u201cBig Fish.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBad Bunny picked up his fourth career Grammy tonight, this one Best M\u00fasica Urbana Album for Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos. \u201cBefore I say thanks to God, I\u2019m gonna say \u2018ICE out,’\u201d he said onstage to a huge cheer (watch the ovation here<\/a>). \u201cWe\u2019re not savage, we\u2019re not animals, we\u2019re not aliens, we are humans and we are Americans. \u2026 The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love.\u201d Here is his must-watch speech in full, followed by an earlier interaction with host Noah: <\/p>\n

\n\tJelly Roll won his first three Grammys<\/a> tonight, one during the telecast and two other during the preshow. \u201cThere was a time in my life, y\u2019all, that I was broken,\u201d he said in accepting Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken. \u201cThat\u2019s why I wrote this album. I didn\u2019t think I had a chance, y\u2019all. There were days I thought the darkest things. I was a horrible human. There was a moment in my life when all I had was a Bible this big and a radio the same size in 6-by-8-foot cell. And I believed that those two things could change my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe broadcast kicked off with Ros\u00e9 & Bruno Mars tearing through their international smash \u201cApt.,\u201d and Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> followed a airport-themed take on \u201cManchild,\u201d complete with bleeped expletives. Both are up for Song and Record of the Year. Justin Bieber later played \u201cYukon\u201d shirtless and solo. Lady Gaga performed \u201cAbracadabra\u201d in a typically wild outfit. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mar\u00edas then led performances by the\u00a0Best New Artist nominees<\/a> with \u201cNo One Noticed,\u201d followed in quasi-medley fashion by by Addison Rae with \u201cFame Is a Gun,, Katseye doing \u201cGnarly,\u201d Leon Thomas with \u201cMutt,\u201d Alex Warren\u2019s \u201cOrdinary,\u201d Lola Young belting \u201cMessy,\u201d Dean with \u201cMan I Need\u201d and Sombr playing \u201c12 to 12.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPerformers to come include Tyler, The Creator; Lauryn Hill, giving her first Grammy stage show since 1999, when she won Album of the Year and Best New Artist; and country icon Reba McIntyre, who is making her Grammy performance debut. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tComing into the day, Lamar\u00a0tops this year\u2019s\u00a0Grammy nominations<\/a>\u00a0with nine, including in the marquee Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year categories that will be awarded tonight. <\/p>\n

\n\tLady Gaga\u00a0and her\u00a0Mayhem\u00a0album\u2019s co-producer Cirkut follow with seven noms apiece, the same number as producer Jack Antonoff. Carpenter and R&B newcomer\/Best New Artist nominee Leon Thomas have six noms as does Bad Bunny, who after the Grammys\u00a0will\u00a0headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show<\/a>\u00a0next Sunday.<\/p>\n

\t\tPreshow highlights\t<\/p>\n

\n\tLady Gaga already has picked up a win today in the Premiere show, with \u201cAbracadabra\u201d taking Best Dance Pop Recording, while Cirkut won for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical. Thomas has won for Best R&B Song and Traditional R&B Performance, and Bad Bunny won for Best Global Music Performance for \u201cEoO.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso today, Sinners, the record-breaking leader in the Oscar nominations<\/a>, won for Ludwig G\u00f6ransson\u2019s Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media and Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande\u2019s anthem \u201cDefying Gravity\u201d from Wicked won for Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance, topping in the category among others the four-Grammy-nominated Kpop Demon Hunters, which eventually picked up its own Grammy<\/a> for Best Song Written For Visual Media, becoming the first K-pop song to do so.<\/p>\n

\n\tChris Stapleton won Best Country Solo Performance for \u201cBad As I Used to Be,\u201d from the movie F1, and Steven Spielberg joined the EGOT club<\/a> as part of the Best Music Film-winning doc Music By John Williams.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong other notable wins so far, The Cure took Best Alternative Music Performance for \u201cAlone\u201d and Best Alternative Music Album for Songs of a Lost World. Frontman Robert Smith sent thanks on behalf of the band, which couldn\u2019t attend as they are at the funeral of their guitarist Perry Bamonte, who died in December<\/a>. Also, Joni Mitchell came onstage to accept her Best Historical Album win for Joni Mitchell Archives \u2013 Volume 4: The Asylum Years \u2014 1976-1980. The Dalai Lama won a Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording Grammy for his book Meditations: The Reflections Of His Holiness The Dalai Lama.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther double winners so far this year include Kehlani, for R&B song and performance; Mavis Staples, for Best Americana Performance and Best American Roots Performance; jazz composer\/bassist Christian McBride; and jazz drummer\/arranger Nate Smith.<\/p>\n
