A man is fighting for life after being hit by a car in Wythenshawe<\/a>. It happened on Altrincham<\/a> Road in Baguley at around 11.10pm on Friday night (January 30).<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old pedestrian was struck by a yellow Audi S3 Quattro, Greater Manchester Police<\/a> (GMP) said.<\/p>\n

He suffered injuries described by the force as ‘life-threatening.’<\/p>\n

A 23-year-man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, GMP said.<\/p>\n

He has since been released on bail, they added.<\/p>\n

The crash is being investigated by the force’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU).<\/p>\n

They are now appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have dashcam footage, to come forward.<\/p>\n
