Wright of the <a href=\"https:\/\/newlondonct.gov\/police\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New London Police Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Wright described the animal as a \u201ccompact, toy-sized dog\u201d that was tan and black. The animal was spotted by a passing motorist.<\/p>\n<p>The incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to contact New London Animal Control at 860-447-5231.
