Paraag Marathe has finally broken his silence on Daniel Farke\u2019s future as Leeds United manager and confirmed that The German will remain in charge for the 2025-26 season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There has been plenty of speculation surrounding Daniel Farke\u2019s<\/a> future, ever since The Whites earned promotion to the Premier League<\/a>. Just a couple of days after Leeds<\/a> went up, reports then emerged.<\/p>\n

Leeds were said to want a manager in the same mould as Andoni Iraola<\/a>, before it was claimed that three bosses had been approached by Leeds<\/a> \u2013 Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Roger Schmidt and Davide Ancelotti.<\/p>\n

Speculation continued as Farke was constantly asked questions about his future, before remaining in the dugout while pandemonium ensued after Leeds had been confirmed champions of the Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Marathe<\/a> confirmed that Farke will remain at Elland Road <\/a>ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season, ending any doubts over whether Leeds will have to hire a new manager in the coming weeks and months.<\/p>\n

Speaking to numerous sources including The Athletic<\/a>, Leeds chairman Marathe has now shared the moment that made him fall in love with Farke \u2013 a moment which at the time, was actually controversial.<\/p>\n

Farke said after the dismal 2-2 draw against Swansea that he was \u201c100% convinced\u201d Leeds would be in the Premier League. However, Leeds won the last six in a row and Farke managed to guide Leeds to first.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he told you all he was 100 per cent confident we\u2019re going to the Premier League, after the draw against Swansea, he believed it and I love him for it,\u201d Marathe said, as per The Athletic on Sunday.<\/p>\n

What Paraag Marathe said about Daniel Farke\u2019s big claim<\/p>\n

Marathe is all for Farke and while many felt The 49ers<\/a> chief was concerned about his form in the Premier League, it is not the case at all. The photos after the Plymouth win shows they have a good relationship.<\/p>\n

Marathe continued: \u201cHe is such a calming force. (A calming) presence would be an understatement. He\u2019s a calming force for supporters, for players, for the club, a superpower. He has that conviction and belief. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe stay in touch all the time. I told him privately, I\u2019m looking forward to moving forward together. I didn\u2019t feel like it was my time to speak because someone wanted to put out a rumour or whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n

With that put to bed, Farke can now work with new sporting director Adam Underwood and chairman Marathe in building a squad capable of survival.
