A 37-year-old man was detained following a public appeal for information\"Police<\/p>\n

A man is in police custody after a teenager was sexually assaulted in the Black Country.<\/p>\n

The incident took place between 10am and 11.30am on Monday (February 2) on the canal near Groveland Road in Tipton.<\/p>\n

A 37-year-old man was detained following a public appeal for information.<\/p>\n

After he was detained this afternoon, the man remains in police custody on suspicion of sexual assault.<\/p>\n
