Celtic are no doubt hopeful that they can hold onto the Scottish Premiership title this season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With Hearts currently at the summit, and Rangers three points clear of the Hoops<\/a>, it will no doubt be a tough task.<\/p>\n

As a result, Celtic are eyeing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain<\/a> to boost their hopes of finishing top of the division come the end of the campaign.<\/p>\n

However, many believe that Martin O\u2019Neill\u2019s<\/a> chances of achieving this have been damaged after the Hoops announced when their postponed Aberdeen fixture will take place.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Celtic fans fume as Aberdeen clash is rearranged for 4 March<\/p>\n

Celtic fans were already furious that their game against Aberdeen was postponed<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The match was a chance to close the gap to Hearts to three points ahead of a busy for the Hoops.<\/p>\n

Unlike every other Scottish side, Celtic are still in Europe going into the second half of the season.<\/p>\n

The Old Firm side face a double header against Stuttgart in the Europa League playoff phase towards the end of February before they travel to Ibrox on 1 March.<\/p>\n

Now, after the Old Firm derby, Celtic will once again be on their travels, with the Aberdeen fixture now set to take place on 4 March.<\/p>\n

With this already being a crucial period for the Hoops, many fans are furious that the tie was rearranged for this date.<\/p>\n

How long is it until the Scottish Premiership splits?<\/p>\n

As per every campaign in recent times, the Scottish Premiership is set to split into the top six and bottom six as it reaches its conclusion.<\/p>\n

Celtic\u2019s final pre-split fixture in the division will take place on 11 April, at home to St Mirren.<\/p>\n

Following this, their first post-split game will come over the weekend of 25-26 April.<\/p>\n

The following games date will then take place on the weekends of 2-3 May and 9-10 May, and the midweek of 12-13 May, before the final matches are set for Saturday, 16 May for the top six and Sunday, 17 May for the bottom six.<\/p>\n

The final day could be full of twists and turns, with Celtic, Rangers and Hearts all in the title race<\/a> as it stands.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
