A delivery driver was stabbed in a horrific attack by a group in south Manchester. Cromwell Grove in Levenshulme<\/a> was taped off by police following the incident on Sunday afternoon (May 4).<\/p>\n Police and paramedics raced to the residential street and erected a cordon. A delivery moped was seen on the ground at the scene as the rider was taken to hospital.<\/p>\n Greater Manchester Police<\/a> said the group had attacked the victim, a male delivery driver, with a machete. He sustained a stab wound, but his injuries were not described as life-threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n Join the Manchester Evening News WhatsApp group <\/strong>HERE<\/a><\/p>\n Cromwell Grove was taped off between Mercer Street and Stockport<\/a> Road while emergency crews responded. The incident was reported shortly after 4pm.<\/p>\n An investigation has now been launched.
