{"id":750293,"date":"2026-02-08T09:38:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-08T09:38:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/750293\/"},"modified":"2026-02-08T09:38:16","modified_gmt":"2026-02-08T09:38:16","slug":"banned-pga-tour-star-denied-reinstatement-despite-wifes-desperate-plea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/750293\/","title":{"rendered":"Banned PGA Tour star denied reinstatement despite wife&#8217;s desperate plea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Wesley Bryan has revealed the PGA Tour dismissed his wife&#8217;s appeal for a reinstatement, following Brooks Koepka&#8217;s return from LIV Golf.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bryan was suspended indefinitely from the <a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/topic\/pga-tour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PGA Tour<\/a> in 2025 for participating in <a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/topic\/liv-golf\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LIV Golf<\/a>&#8216;s nine-hole influencer scramble competition, Duels.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"US golfer Wesley Bryan at the PGA Tour's Creator Classic event\" height=\"640\" width=\"960\" data-credit=\"Getty\" data-img=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/wesley-bryan-byran-bros-golf-1057104815.jpg\" data-caption=\"Wesley Bryan has not featured on the PGA Tour in 2026, and won't be returning anytime soon\"   loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/wesley-bryan-byran-bros-golf-1057104815.jpg\" role=\"img\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>5<\/p>\n<p>Wesley Bryan has not featured on the PGA Tour in 2026, and won&#8217;t be returning anytime soonCredit: Getty<\/p>\n<p>The American golfer has become well known for his golf content on YouTube alongside his brother George, and the pair competed at the Miami-based Pro-Am featuring online creators.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after, Bryan was hit with a ban by the PGA and hasn&#8217;t been seen on the Tour since then, with no set return date.<\/p>\n<p>While the 35-year-old previously insisted he had come to terms with the suspension, until <a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/golf\/3897553\/brooks-koepka-pga-tour-return-liv-penalty-compromise\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Koepka made his comeback on the PGA Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Five-time major winner Koepka began his second stint as a PGA Tour player last week, when he finished T-56 at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.<\/p>\n<p>Read more on talksport<\/p>\n<p>The US star&#8217;s return came at a cost &#8211; having been permitted to return  after agreeing to donate $5million to charity.<\/p>\n<p>Koepka also won&#8217;t be eligible for PGA Tour equity grants for the next five years, will be ineligible for the $100m FedEx Cup bonus money in 2026, and cannot enter signature events without qualifying.<\/p>\n<p>Bryan: &#8216;No conversation&#8217;
