A youthful Manchester United with one eye on the Europa League proved they still carry the club DNA as two late goals gave Brentford a scare in a 4-3 loss. <\/strong><\/p>\n

It was almost a perfect game for Ruben Amorim<\/a> barring Matthijs de Ligt\u2019s injury<\/a>, an update on which will be sorely awaited by Man Utd fans<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Besides that, he got to rest his main stars, the senior players who did play acquitted themselves well and most importantly, showed spirit to fight till the end. <\/p>\n

One youngster stood out to MUTV pundit and former Red Devil David May, who was deemed \u2018different class\u2019 despite playing in a youthful team in a loss. <\/p>\n

A major benefit of having all the eggs in the Europa League<\/a> basket is that it has inevitably given Ruben Amorim the choice to try out youngsters in the league. <\/p>\n

An away game against Brentford is the quintessential \u201cWelcome to Premier League\u201d game because Thomas Frank\u2019s team combines physicality with game intelligence. <\/p>\n

For a player to come through a game against them in the starting stage of his career with his reputation enhanced speaks volumes about his potential.<\/p>\n

That is the situation Tyler Fredricson<\/a> finds himself in after he was called \u201cdifferent class\u201d by David May after the game. <\/p>\n

May said: \u201cTyler [Fredricson] was different class. He read the game ever so well. Put his head in where, when needed. Absolutely delighted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amorim also praised Fredricson\u2019s efforts after the game, saying he was subbed off to protect him rather than an issue with his performance. <\/p>\n

Fredricson close to establishing himself at Man Utd<\/p>\n

When it comes to breaking through at Man Utd<\/a>, especially in the defensive half of the pitch, nobody would have picked Fredricson as a contender. <\/p>\n

Godwill Kukonki was Amorim\u2019s favourite<\/a> at first sight at Old Trafford<\/a>, then Ayden Heaven took to senior football<\/a> like a seasoned professional. <\/p>\n

However, after Fredricson shone against Wolves<\/a> and followed it up against Brentford, he\u2019s now genuine first-team quality. <\/p>\n

More importantly, he\u2019s close to permanently establishing himself at Man Utd after De Ligt\u2019s injury, clearing the way for Fredricson to almost certainly start the remaining PL fixtures. <\/p>\n

If he can come through those with as much credit to his name as he has the previous two, Amorim will have a new first-team player for next season. <\/p>\n
