<\/p>\nCaitlin Green\u2019s body was discovered in the Princes Street area of Lurgan on Saturday afternoon \u2013 her death is not being treated as suspicious. <\/p>\n
The 24-year-old is remembered in a funeral notice as the \u201cloving mummy\u201d of Cad\u00e1in and Cl\u00edodhna and the \u201cdearly beloved daughter\u201d of Stephanie and Barry. <\/p>\n
“Much loved sister of Jason, Lela, Patrick and Lily-Rose and beloved granddaughter of Siobhan Green,\u201d it adds. <\/p>\n
Caitlin’s body will repose at her home address in Gilford on Monday evening where family and friends have been invited to pay their respects.<\/p>\n
A Requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The funeral cortege will leave the property and make its way to St Patrick & St Colman’s Church in Laurencetown around an hour before the service. <\/p>\n
Caitlin will be buried afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.<\/p>\n
\u201cSacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul,\u201d the funeral notice reads. <\/p>\n
\u201cVery deeply regretted by her loving children, parents, brothers, sisters, granny and entire family circle.\u201d<\/p>\n
Donations in lieu of flowers have been requested to Changing Lives c\/o Jack McLearnon & Son Funeral Directors. <\/p>\n
It comes as Caitlin\u2019s sister Lela expressed an emotional tribute on social media and vowed to \u201cforever remember your perfect beautiful smile and laugh\u201d. <\/p>\n
\u201cRest in peace Caitlin, hard to believe you\u2019re gone,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n
\u201cSide by side, or miles apart, siblings will always be connected at heart.<\/p>\n
“Without a fail, my big sister always lifted me up all my life \u2013 now it\u2019s my turn to lift her.<\/p>\n
“This saying really stuck; A sister is someone who loves you from the heart, no matter what you do wrong and that was just Caitlin all over.<\/p>\n
” I love you. Not goodbye, it\u2019s see you later\u201d. <\/p>\n
Caitlin\u2019s family were informed on Saturday that a body had been found amid an ongoing search effort. <\/p>\n
It wasn\u2019t until Sunday that a post-mortem examination formally confirmed the identity.<\/p>\n
Police offered condolences to Caitlin\u2019s family as her brother Jason took to Facebook to pay tribute to his sister.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love you so much Caitlin,\u201d he wrote. \u201cRIP little sis.\u201d<\/p>\n
The emotional update prompted replies from friends who expressed shock and sadness as they offered condolences.<\/p>\n
“She loved you so so much Lela and she\u2019s watching over you always,\u201d one user wrote.<\/p>\n
Another posted: \u201cSending you so much love, Caitlin will be with you always\u201d. <\/p>\n
Caitlin\u2019s mum Stephanie had set up a Facebook page dedicated to the effort to bring her daughter home. <\/p>\n
Detectives had issued a fresh appeal for information on Friday and urged local residents to check privately-owned sheds and outbuildings to help locate the missing person who was last seen alive at around 12.30pm on Saturday, January 31. <\/p>\n
Caitlin vanished after leaving a friend\u2019s home in the Derry Street\/Lord Lurgan Park area dressed in black leggings and a grey Regatta jacket and had not been in contact with relatives since the day before. <\/p>\n
Her body was discovered just hours after her mum updated the \u2018Bring Caitlin Home\u2019 page with a desperate plea for the community to gather in the area where her daughter was last sighted \u201cto even just be there\u201d for her. <\/p>\n
The Friends of St John\u2019s Primary School Gilford Facebook page said the entire school community \u201cis deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Caitlin Green, beloved sister of our dear pupil, Lily-Rose\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe extend our deepest and most sincere sympathies to Lily-Rose, her family, and to all of Caitlin\u2019s friends and loved ones at this heartbreaking time,\u201d it adds. <\/p>\n
\u201cOur thoughts and prayers are with you all. May Caitlin rest in peace. St John, pray for her.\u201d<\/p>\n
A Gilford Community Events account said the whole village \u201cis devastated by the tragic loss of Caitlin Green\u201d.<\/p>\n
“What began with hope, prayers, and the community coming together to search has ended in heartbreak beyond words,\u201d the post continues. <\/p>\n
\u201cOn behalf of the Gilford Community Events Group, we want to express our deepest and most sincere sympathy to her family and loved ones.<\/p>\n
“Our hearts are completely broken for you.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis loss has touched every home in our village. We stand together in grief, in support, and in solidarity with the family at this unimaginable time.<\/p>\n
“You are not alone our entire community is with you. Rest in peace, beautiful girl.\u201d<\/p>\n
