{"id":753521,"date":"2026-02-09T21:15:14","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T21:15:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/753521\/"},"modified":"2026-02-09T21:15:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T21:15:14","slug":"disneys-hercules-to-close-in-the-west-end-with-final-london-dates-confirmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/753521\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney\u2019s Hercules to close in the West End with final London dates confirmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Disney has announced the final dates for its West End musical <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/211537\/shows\/disneys-hercules-tickets\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Disney\u2019s Hercules<\/a><\/strong> at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London.<\/p>\n<p>Hercules was booking at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane until 18 July 2026, and has now announced its final extension, closing on 5 September 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Disney\u2019s Hercules is directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner <strong>Casey Nicholaw<\/strong> (Mean Girls), who is currently busy directing Disney\u2019s brand new stage musical adaptation of hit movie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/61191\/shows\/the-greatest-showman-the-musical-tickets\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Greatest Showman<\/a>. The show opens in Bristol next month for a sold-out run, ahead of a widely rumoured West End transfer.<\/p>\n<p>The stars of Hercules<\/p>\n<p>The cast of Hercules is led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/261536\/star-watch\/luke-brady\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Luke Brady<\/strong><\/a> (The Prince of Egypt) as Hercules, with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/271852\/star-watch\/mae-ann-jorolan\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mae Ann Jorolan<\/a><\/strong> (Hercules, Aladdin) as Meg, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/153545\/star-watch\/trevor-dion-nicholas\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trevor Dion Nicholas<\/a><\/strong> (Hadestown, Hamilton, Aladdin) as Phil, <strong>Stephen Carlile<\/strong> (The Lion King) as Hades, and <strong>Craig Gallivan<\/strong> (Frozen) and <strong>Lee Zarrett<\/strong> (My Fair Lady) as Bob and Charles.<\/p>\n<p>The Five Muses are <strong>Candace Furbert<\/strong> (The Book of Mormon) as Thalia, <strong>Sharlene Hector<\/strong> (Hairspray) as Clio, <strong>Brianna Ogunbawo<\/strong> (The Lion King) as Melpomene, <strong>Leslie Beehann<\/strong> (Hercules Germany) as Calliope, <strong>Robyn Rose-Li<\/strong> (The Baker\u2019s Wife) as Terpsichore, and <strong>Kimmy Edwards<\/strong> (A Christmas Carol) and <strong>Kamilla Fernandes<\/strong> (Grease) as Standby Muses.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"Disney's Hercules - West End.
