The <strong>European Defence Innovation Scheme (EUDIS)<\/strong> hackathon form part of the European Union\u2019s broader initiative to strengthen defence readiness and accelerate disruptive innovation by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Local Organisers Driving Regional Defence Innovation<\/p>\n<p>Eight organisations have been selected as local organisers for the EUDIS Defence Hackathon Spring 2026:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Czechia \u2013 University of Defence (UNOB)<\/li>\n<li>France \u2013 Starburst Accelerator SAS<\/li>\n<li>The Netherlands \u2013 Stichting Dotspace<\/li>\n<li>Norway \u2013 Fremtidens Industri (Future Innovations)<\/li>\n<li>Portugal \u2013 Oceanstrategy Unipessoal LDA (Productized)<\/li>\n<li>Poland \u2013 Krakowski Park Technologiczny sp. z.o.o.<\/li>\n<li>Romania \u2013 ROTSA (Romanian Tech Startup Association)<\/li>\n<li>Spain \u2013 Arribes Enlightment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The organisers will host regional hackathons and act as key actors within their ecosystems \u2013 bringing together startups, researchers, the industry, defence end-users and public authorities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Focus on defending the European airspace\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Spring 2026 edition will focus on <strong>Defending Airspace<\/strong>, a strategic theme addressing urgent needs in airspace protection and drone defence.
