{"id":758010,"date":"2026-02-11T21:17:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-11T21:17:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/758010\/"},"modified":"2026-02-11T21:17:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T21:17:15","slug":"temporary-banking-hub-confirmed-for-horsforth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/758010\/","title":{"rendered":"Temporary banking hub confirmed for Horsforth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong>By Harry Ward<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A temporary banking hub is set to open in Horsforth later this month after the town\u2019s last high street bank closes.<\/p>\n<p>Cash Access UK has confirmed the service will operate from Horsforth Community Hub on Town Street, with an opening date expected on 24 February.<\/p>\n<p>Local MP Katie White said she had been in contact with Cash Access UK and the Horsforth ward councillors during the search for a suitable venue and welcomed confirmation of the new facility.<\/p>\n<p>Banking hubs are shared facilities designed to provide face-to-face services in areas that have lost bank branches.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They are run in partnership with the Post Office and allow customers of any major bank to carry out everyday transactions.<\/p>\n<p>Services typically include withdrawing and depositing cash, paying in cheques, checking balances and paying bills. Small businesses can also access change services.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, staff from individual banks visit on set days to offer private appointments for more complex account queries and support.<\/p>\n<p>The Horsforth site will initially operate as a temporary hub while a longer-term location is found.
