The girl was thought to be travelling with a larger group before she was “touched inappropriately” in Friary Passage near the Electric Theatre<\/a> between 7pm and 8.20pm.<\/p>\n Cops believe the group she was with then fled to the Guildford train station.<\/p>\n Witnesses or passersby who may have seen the incident have been urged to come forward. <\/p>\n Surrey<\/a> Police said earlier today: “Two teenagers<\/a> have been arrested on suspicion sexual assault by touching following an incident in #Guildford town centre yesterday evening (3 May).<\/p>\n “They are currently in custody and will be interviewed today.<\/p>\n The boys were arrested after a girl was touched inappropriately in Friary Passage near the Electric Theatre sometime between 7 and 8.20 pm.<\/p>\n “The identify of the victim remains unknown and we would like to identify her to check on her welfare. <\/p>\n “We would also like to speak to any witnesses to the incident as we believe that the victim was part of a larger group of children who then left towards #Guildford train station.<\/p>\n “If you saw what happened, or you have any information which could assist our enquiries, please contact us via direct message quoting ref PR\/45250052631.”<\/p>\n
