Toby Collyer suffered an injury during his time at West Brom earlier this season and now the Man Utd midfielder is injured for Hull City.\"Toby<\/p>\n

Toby Collyer has picked up another injury problem while out on loan<\/p>\n

Toby Collyer will miss up to three weeks of Hull City’s promotion charge after being ruled out with a hamstring injury that he picked up in training ahead of the Tigers’ FA Cup<\/a> tie with Chelsea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old midfielder joined Hull on loan from Manchester United<\/a> late in the January window, having seen a spell at West Brom in the first half of the season wrecked by injury.<\/p>\n

Collyer played 12 Championship fixtures for the Baggies but started only three before picking up a calf injury in November, which saw him return to Carrington for his rehabilitation.<\/p>\n

Having returned to fitness last month, United decided to send Collyer back out on loan but his time in East Yorkshire has got off to a false start. He made his debut off the bench against Bristol City last weekend, playing 14 minutes, but then picked up an injury in training.<\/p>\n

He was due to be involved in Friday night’s fourth-round tie against Chelsea, which the Premier League<\/a> side won 4-0, before going down with the hamstring problem on Wednesday, according to HullLive<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking after that game, Hull City boss Sergej Jakirovic confirmed Collyer would now miss two to three weeks through injury, which suggests he is unlikely to return again until March.<\/p>\n

Those 14 minutes against Bristol City are the only minutes he’s played since the end of November, but he will be desperate to get his match fitness up and try and play his part in Hull’s unlikely promotion push.<\/p>\n

They currently sit fifth in the Championship and are only five points off the automatic promotion places. Collyer is likely to miss their next three league fixtures.<\/p>\n
