Crime scenes were put in place in Oldham following reports of a shooting on Sunday (February 15). Police and forensic teams were called to the scene on School House Road.<\/p>\n

It’s understood a property was targeted in a shooting involving a firearm. A large scene was put in place, including on Roundthorn Road.<\/p>\n

Police tape sealed off the street amid ongoing investigations, with forensic officers seen focusing on one property. One nearby resident told the M.E.N CSI officers in white suits spent a number of hours conducting enquiries.<\/p>\n

Videos posted on social media showed police vans and cars in attendance on Roundthorn Road at the junction with Aspull Street.<\/p>\n

The latest incident follows a stabbing and another attack in the Greater Manchester borough in a matter of days. Police are continuing to investigate a spate of violent incidents<\/a> in the Chadderton<\/a> and Coldhurst areas last Thursday evening (February 12).<\/p>\n

Further details about the nature of the incident on Sunday have not yet been confirmed.
