The collision happened on the A623 near Tideswell.<\/p>\n

A teenage scooter rider has died after a collision involving multiple vehicles in Tideswell<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The incident happened just before 11pm on Saturday (February 14) and involved a Range Rover and a Lexmoto Diablo scooter on the A623 near the junction with Whitecross Road.<\/p>\n

The rider of the scooter, a man in his teens, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

The driver of the Range Rover, a man in his 70s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.<\/p>\n

He has been released on bail as enquiries continue.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police<\/a> said the force is now appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who has dashcam footage from the scene.<\/p>\n
