ISACA\u2019s Quantum Pulse Poll<\/a> gathers insights from more than 2,600 digital trust professionals globally in order to understand the future of quantum computing, revealing that while a quarter of respondents believe quantum computing will be realized within five years<\/a>, most organizations are unprepared for this timeline. According to the poll, 95% of organizations lack a roadmap for quantum computing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The gap between concern and preparedness regarding quantum computing is evident, with 62% expressing concern that it will break current internet encryption but only 5% indicating that it is a high priority for the near future.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Many professionals anticipate benefits to the arrival of quantum computing<\/a>. For instance, 48% are very or somewhat optimistic about the impact that quantum computing will have on their industry. 63% believe it will streamline data analysis and computational tasks, and 46% believe it will lead to revolutionary innovation.
