Bayern Munich chief Uli Hoeness has claimed that Luis Diaz<\/a>\u2019s agent \u2018gave everything\u2019 to seal his move from Liverpool<\/a> to Bayern Munich<\/a>. The Colombian winger ended a successful spell on Merseyside in the summer.<\/p>\n Bayern ended up paying \u00a365.5m <\/a>for Diaz\u2019s services. He was among a host of first-team stars to leave the club – Darwin Nunez, Trent Alexander-Arnold<\/a>, Jarell Quansah and Caoimh\u00edn Kelleher all among those to follow him out of the exit door.<\/p>\n Hoeness has since opened up on Diaz\u2019s move to Munich and has praised his agent for facilitating the switch. Speaking to Bild about agents in football, he said: \u201cLuis D\u00edaz\u2019s agent, for instance, fought hard to get him from Liverpool, which was very difficult.<\/p>\n \u201cHe gave everything for his client and still always spoke fairly with Liverpool. We\u2019re happy to pay someone like that.\u201d<\/p>\n Diaz has earned praise across his debut season in Bayern, having scored 19 goals and provided a further 15 assists in just 32 appearances in all competitions. He has incredible energy\u2014Lucho is a machine. There are tough moments at times, but he brings exactly the same intensity to training on Mondays. That\u2019s helped us tremendously this season.\u201d<\/p>\n Hoeness\u2019 praise for Diaz\u2019s agent comes at the same time that he has criticised the representatives of Dayot Upamecano. The French defender is out of contract at the end of the season, with negotiations over a renewed deal having stalled.<\/p>\n Speaking about the situation, Hoeness said: \u201cDo you know what\u2019s so disastrous about that? In Upamecano\u2019s case, the agents either wanted to drive up our price or push him to another club, and as a thank you, we were supposed to pay them a signing bonus. We\u2019re all in agreement on that at the club. We might even put one or two agents \u2013 if they behave unfairly \u2013 on a list and tell them that we will no longer sign players they represent. That would be the next step.\u201d<\/p>\n Bayern Munich are currently favourites to win the Bundesliga this season.
