Manchester United have reportedly held talks over a potential move for Wolves forward Mateus Mane ahead of the summer transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After signing no players in January, the 2026 summer transfer window could be a big one as Manchester United<\/a> look to continue rebuilding the squad for future success.<\/p>\n

United revamped the attacking department last year, as Ruben Amorim<\/a> got rid of players like Antony<\/a> and Alejandro Garnacho<\/a> during the same period that Matheus Cunha<\/a>, Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> and Benjamin Sesko<\/a> arrived at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The same level of emphasis is expected to be on the midfield this year, especially with Casemiro announcing his exit<\/a> last month.<\/p>\n

Despite focusing on adding more goals to the team last summer, United could add another attacking player to the squad after missing out on Antoine Semenyo<\/a> to Man City.<\/p>\n

Every snub opens the door for other players to earn a transfer to Old Trafford, but the scouting department must take responsibility and find the best alternative options on the market.<\/p>\n

United appeared to prioritise attacking players with Premier League<\/a> experience last summer.<\/p>\n

Cunha and Mbeumo were prime examples of that and both players hit the ground running at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils will be able to fund deals through the sales of Marcus Rashford<\/a> and Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> if the two United loanees<\/a> secure permanent moves away from the Theatre of Dreams.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen how significant Premier League experience will be in United\u2019s search for new talent in the summer, but reports suggest another young prospect in the top flight is attracting attention from Ineos<\/a> chiefs.<\/p>\n

According to CentreDevils<\/a>, United have held initial talks with the agent of Wolves forward Mateus Mane.<\/p>\n

The report claims Mane, who is highly rated at United following his breakthrough this season, has interest from multiple clubs and will make a decision on his future at the end of the campaign.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t bode well for Wolves in terms of keeping their best talent, with the club destined to be relegated from the Premier League with nine points from 26 games.<\/p>\n
