The body of a man has been discovered near the River Clyde<\/a>. Emergency crews rushed to the Yoker Ferry Road area of Glasgow this morning.<\/p>\n

An alarm was raised at around 10.30am near to the site of the former Yoker-Renfrew ferry after a man’s body was discovered. Although details regarding the incident<\/a> are not yet known, the force has confirmed that the unidentified man’s next of kin have been informed.<\/p>\n

Police have launched a probe<\/a> and insist enquiries into the full details of what happened are ongoing at this time.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland <\/a>spokesperson said: \u201cAround 10.30am on Saturday, 21 February, 2026, the body of a man was discovered in the Yoker Ferry Road area of Glasgow. Next of kin is aware.<\/p>\n

\u201cEnquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n
