{"id":77990,"date":"2025-05-06T02:21:13","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T02:21:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/77990\/"},"modified":"2025-05-06T02:21:13","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T02:21:13","slug":"%f0%9f%87%a9%f0%9f%87%b0-denmark-sissal-and-jorgen-olsen-record-new-version-of-fly-on-the-wings-of-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/77990\/","title":{"rendered":"\ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddf0 Denmark: Sissal and J\u00f8rgen Olsen Record New Version of &#8220;Fly On The Wings Of Love&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Denmark is celebrating its victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with a new version of \u201cFly On The Wings Of Love\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This year marks 25 years since Denmark won the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with the Olsen brothers and their song\u00a0 \u201cFly On The Wings Of Love\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate this anniversary, one of the brothers, J\u00f8rgen , recorded a new version of the song with Sissa,l who is representing Denmark in this year\u2019s contest.<\/p>\n<p>Denmark won the contest in 2000, receiving points from 21 of the 23 other contestants, including eight \u201c12 points\u201d, scoring a a total of 195 points. It was the second victory of the country, 37 years after \u201cDansevise\u201d, in 1963.<\/p>\n<p>Sissal will represent Denmark in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest with the song \u201cHallucination\u201d. To date Denmark has won the contest on three occasions, the first being in 1963 when Grethe &amp; Jorgen Ingmann performed \u201cDansevise\u201d. Denmark won the contest again in 2000 represented by the Olsen Brothers. Their most recent victory came in 2013 when Emmelie de Forest performed \u201cOnly Teardrops\u201d.
