According to BuLi News, the 21-year-old is now committed to the DFB pathway following his breakthrough season.<\/p>\n<p>Back in October 2025 he kept the door open, saying: &#8220;The rules allow it, and my phone is on. If Gattuso [Italian head coach] wants to talk to me, I would be very happy.&#8221; That call never came.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on his choice, he told Gazzetta dello Sport: &#8220;They showed me a future, I immediately felt valued, even by the association. That&#8217;s important for a player.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tresoldi has been in Germany\u2019s youth set-up since U19 level, and is now an important part of the U21s.
