Foo Fighters are coming to Manchester as they host a small, intimate show for a select number of fans. However, the way to get tickets has shifted from the usual internet battle.<\/p>\n

In a shock announcement, Manchester music venue O2 Ritz posted on social media that the Dave Grohl-fronted rockers will be performing Friday this week (27 February). The band are scheduled to perform in Liverpool this year<\/a> as part of the Take Cover Tour, which spans 12 European dates, but with only two shows in the UK so far.<\/p>\n

The intimate gig will be on a much smaller scale than that of the Anfield show and gives fans the opportunity to see them in the Manchester venue, with the venue noting they have limited space.<\/p>\n

Instead of the usual battle of getting tickets online, fans are expected to purchase their tickets in person at the venue, as sales begin 12pm today (22 February) at O2 Ritz<\/a>, Whitworth Street in Manchester.<\/p>\n

So, instead of having multiple tabs and devices open to secure said tickets, fans will be queuing outside of the tiny arena in the winter sun.<\/p>\n

How to get tickets for Foo Fighters in Manchester?<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the Ritz official Instagram account, they confirmed that ticket prices are set at \u00a399.00 including all fees and fans cannot pay with cash, it has to be with contactless, credit cards and debit cards only.<\/p>\n

This is a first come first served basis and there is a two ticket per person limit and fans will no doubt be racing to the venue to get a ticket.<\/p>\n

For those with any accessible requirements, the venue urged fans to notify staff at the time of purchase or to contact the venue box office directly.<\/p>\n

Fans hoping to secure tickets are being asked to queue outside of the venue, and have been asked to “please be courteous of neighbouring businesses and community”, while adding that queue-jumping is not permitted.<\/p>\n
