Meghan Markle<\/a> and Prince Harry<\/a> were nowhere to be seen at the 2025 Met Gala<\/a>, despite fan speculation that this would finally be the year the couple made their red carpet debut<\/a> at the high-profile fashion event.<\/p>\n Despite the Met Gala being held in New York and the Duke and Duchess being LA<\/a> based, the event is known for attracting A-listers from across the globe. The pair’s absence had many fans wondering where they were instead.<\/p>\n A source is now saying that the famous couple prefers the quiet of their own home in Montecito over the chaos of the red carpet in Manhattan. Does she work?\u2019 as opposed to \u2018Oh my gosh, I work so hard and I appreciate what hard work looks like, I like working hard, and I\u2019m still working hard,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Meghan also spoke about managing her lifestyle brand, As Ever. \u201cThe moment that everything sells out it doesn\u2019t mean that we\u2019re done,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n \u201cIt means we\u2019re working on replenishment and what are the next SKUs, and what\u2019s the next tranche of products, and what\u2019s the timing on that?”<\/p>\n “And writing the newsletters and writing the social media captions and making sure that all that falls in line.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd what\u2019s the cadence of it, and what\u2019s the photography that we want to do, what do I want to wear for those shoots?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhile also editing all the time-coded notes for season 2 of With Love, Meghan, and then being in edits for the podcast and being a mom and a wife and a friend,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n She finished, \u201cThose are all jobs. I mean, I love being that busy, but I do think it\u2019s really interesting when people have no sense of what goes into the thing, and then when the thing seems as though it\u2019s like \u2018oh, wow, huge,\u2019 the thing\u2019s not done.
