{"id":78390,"date":"2025-05-06T06:03:16","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T06:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/78390\/"},"modified":"2025-05-06T06:03:16","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T06:03:16","slug":"birmingham-care-home-which-saw-an-accident-on-its-premises-needs-to-improve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/78390\/","title":{"rendered":"Birmingham care home which saw an accident on its premises &#8216;needs to improve&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sense, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expressandstar.com\/news\/local-hubs\/birmingham\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Station Road<\/a>, provides care for up to nine people, some with a learning disability and was inspected by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cqc.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Care Quality Commission (CQC)<\/a> between January 27 and February 18.<\/p>\n<p>The report found the home, which had eight people living there at the time of the inspection, good in three areas: Responsive; caring and effective.<\/p>\n<p>But it was marked as &#8216;Requires Improvement&#8217; in three other areas: Safety; well led and overall.<\/p>\n<p>The report said: &#8220;The inspection was prompted in part by a notification of an incident following which a person using the service was injured.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This incident is subject to further investigation by CQC as to whether any regulatory action should be taken.
