But relentlessly exceeding the body\u2019s limits just to stay competitive? Perhaps that\u2019s a boundary we shouldn\u2019t cross. Maybe many of the victories glorified by society aren\u2019t worth winning after all.\u201d<\/p>\n After a recent comment to her said, \u201cIf you really wanted to do it, you would play through the pain,\u201d she was struck by the accusation and felt the need to pen her thoughts.<\/p>\n \u201cSomeone said this to me a few weeks ago after I explained I wasn\u2019t ready to compete. Pain, discomfort, and struggle are inevitable part of pursuing excellence.
