Liverpool have a lot of work to do in the summer transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trent Alexander-Arnold announced his Liverpool exit<\/a> on Monday after two decades at the club. <\/p>\n

The Englishman has been one of the Reds\u2019 best players over the years, but it had been clear for a while now that he would be leaving at the end of his contract. <\/p>\n

Slot has the likes of Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez at his disposal, but losing a player of Alexander-Arnold\u2019s quality may force them to dive into the market for a replacement.<\/p>\n

A number of right-backs have been linked with Liverpool, like Jeremie Frimpong<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The Bayer Leverkusen star is among the most exciting players in his position in the world. He has been brilliant in Germany, and it\u2019s only a matter of time before he leaves for a bigger club. <\/p>\n

Liverpool have had an eye on Frimpong<\/a> for quite some time now, and Ornstein has revealed that he would be open to signing for the Reds if they made an offer this summer. <\/p>\n

The journalist said on NBC Sports<\/a>: \u201cIf they went for something different, something more multi-faceted, there are players potentially on the market like a Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe has a \u20ac35 million (\u00a330m) release clause, something in the region of that, as I understand it. I also believe that he would be keen on a move to Liverpool, if they decide to go down that route. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey will have other options as well, but Frimpong has been mentioned in a number of reports so far.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Englishman is such a unique player at right-back. His ability on the ball is almost unmatched, and Liverpool will definitely miss his attacking output. <\/p>\n

At around \u00a330 million, he would be an absolute bargain for the Reds this summer. <\/p>\n
