A body has been discovered outside a property in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

The discovery was made just after 2pm today, Tuesday, February 24, on Yardley<\/a> Wood Road, Billesley<\/a>, sparking a huge police operation.<\/p>\n

The death was being treated as ‘unexplained’ and investigations were underway.<\/p>\n

The busy route was cordoned off near the shops and doctor surgery. Forensics officers in white suits were seen working at the scene<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> said: “We’re investigating after the body of a man was found outside an address on Yardley Wood Road, Birmingham<\/a>, shortly after 2pm.<\/p>\n

“The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained and we are carrying out further enquiries.”<\/p>\n

West Midlands Ambulance Service<\/a> said it was aware of an incident in this area but were not asked to attend.<\/p>\n

Pedestrians were not being allowed without an escort from officers.<\/p>\n
