For the unversed, Prince Harry recently sat down with the BBC for yet another bombshell interview. While he spoke about missing the U.K. and wanting reconciliation with his family, insiders are saying Prince William isn\u2019t buying it \u2014 and he might be plotting a major royal-level revenge with his younger brother.
According to a report from The Daily Beast, palace insiders claim the royal family is \u201cstunned and frustrated\u201d by Harry\u2019s comments. But William? He\u2019s apparently had enough. Word is that as soon as he takes the throne, one of his first royal acts could be stripping Harry and Meghan of their HRH titles \u2014 once and for all. This decision by Prince William (after he becomes the King)is also being much speculated ever since Meghan allegedly used her HRH title for promoting her brand ‘As Ever’– Harry and Meghan are prohibited from using their HRH title for commercial purposes.
A so-called \u201cfamily friend\u201d told The Daily Beast that Harry\u2019s behaviour is \u201cabsolutely vile,\u201d and that the interview proves he has zero interest in actually making peace. \u201cIf he really wanted to reconcile, he\u2019d have stayed quiet. The HRHs will go,\u201d the source declared. Yikes.
And it doesn\u2019t stop there. A former courtier added that William is thinking long-term \u2014 and plans to completely \u201ccut off\u201d Harry from the royal circle when the time is right. \u201cThere\u2019s no direct contact anymore, so it\u2019ll be a clean break… And what better time to do it than during the chaos of royal succession?,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, Harry\u2019s side of the story paints a different picture. In his recent BBC interview, he said, \u201cI would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious.\u201d He also opened up about why he won\u2019t be returning to the U.K. anytime soon, explaining, \u201cI can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back… I miss the U.K. It\u2019s really quite sad that I won\u2019t be able to show my children my homeland.\u201d
It\u2019s clear Harry is feeling torn between his wife and children, and his family in the UK\u2014 but it\u2019s also clear that William may be done playing the nice older brother.
