If you\u2019re looking for a quieter region of Spain<\/a> to visit, Jet2<\/a> has just launched a brand new route to Jerez, a city steeped in history. The holiday company is set to offer flights and holidays from Birmingham Airport<\/a> until October 31, 2025. Customers can also escape to the Spanish sunshine from Manchester<\/a> and Leeds Bradford Airport<\/a> for the first time with a weekly service launching today.<\/p>\n

Flights and holidays to Jerez will also commence from London Stansted Airport<\/a> next summer, meaning the companies will operate to the Spanish hotspot from four UK airport bases for next summer. Jet2 said: \u201cAlso known as the \u2018Coast of Light\u2019, the Costa de la Luz is a stunning spot on the south-western coast of Spain, making it the perfect choice for a sun-kissed holiday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis unspoiled corner of Spain offers stretches of sandy beaches<\/a> and rich Andalusian history, packed with authentic culture.<\/p>\n

\u201cRenowned for its bustling markets, impressive architecture and luscious green countryside, the Costa de la Luz is also known for its Mediterranean climate, exciting excursions and first-class golf courses.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Spanish city of Jerez also produces sherry for both domestic and export markets, and there are more than 100 wineries in the region itself.<\/p>\n

Tourists can easily book tours to visit the local bodegas, where sherry is made, as well as taste the different varieites.<\/p>\n

When it comes to beaches, tourists will find plenty of places to relax and take in the scenery.<\/p>\n

Sandy beaches include Playa de la Barrosa, one of the region\u2019s favourites among tourists and locals. It features nearly four miles of sand with incredible views.<\/p>\n

Temperatures throughout the spring and summer months are pleasant too, with the warm weather remaining until at least September.<\/p>\n

Jet2 has also launched a new route to Pula, a beautiful seaside spot in Croatia with stunning beaches.<\/p>\n
