Up and down the country, there are hundreds upon hundreds of caf\u00e9s that serve up delicious coffee and various other hot and cold drinks. While everyone will have their own local favourite coffee shop, the best in Scotland were recently named on a prestigious guide.<\/p>\n
As reported by the Daily Record<\/a>, The Best Coffee Shops UK shared a list of the 44 best coffee shops in the UK. Among the nine Scottish caf\u00e9s that are featured on the list is Mossgiel Coffee House in the East Ayrshire town of Stewarton, which is around 20 miles out of Glasgow.<\/p>\n Mossgiel Coffee House is an organic artisan coffee house and bakery that specialises in sustainability and ethically sourced ingredients. It makes use of fresh organic milk from its very own cows, while its website<\/a> states that it ensures “every cup of coffee, crumbly pastry and plate of goodness supports a better food system”.<\/p>\n Mossgiel Coffee House offers organic blend coffee<\/a> by Dear Green Coffee Roasters, with cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites, Americanos, macchiatos, and more available. Other drinks include tea, regular and specialist hot chocolate, and a wide range of cold and soft drinks.<\/p>\n The caf\u00e9 also offers an extensive food<\/a> menu, which includes options such as eggs benedict, filled rolls, and toasted croissants. Customers can also order a farmhouse stack that comes with square sausage, bacon, tattie scone, two slices of toasted organic bread, pancake, baked beans, black pudding or haggis, and poached or scrambled egg.<\/p>\n There are also sandwiches and toasties available for those looking for a lighter bite, which are also served on Mossgiel Coffee House’s organic farmhouse bread. We\u2019re very grateful to be part of it all.”<\/p>\n As well as being named one of the best caf\u00e9s in Scotland and the UK, the Mossgiel Coffee House has also earned rave feedback from the public.
