1995 Lakeside World Champion, Burnett, was joined alongside his Welsh compatriot Kurt Parry as the pair took the early lead in Group A, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as they recorded victories against Craig Galliano & Justin Hewitt (Gibraltar), Brian Raman & Xanti Van den Bergh (Belgium), Mervyn King & Steve West (England), Jimmy Van Schie & Danny Van Trijp (Netherlands) and Scott Campbell & John Henderson (Scotland), to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, Van Schie & Van Trijp ended the day in 2nd on 8 points, whilst King & West sit in 3rd on 6 points, Raman & Van den Bergh in 4th on 4 points, Campbell & Henderson in 5th on 2 points and Galliano & Hewitt bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday\u2019s Finale, with Burnett and Parry leading the way thus far.
